Every database in Apricot starts with one site by standard, titled "Default." Multi-site functionality, however, is only available for Apricot Core and Apricot 360 customers. To learn more about this option for your organization, please reach out to the Account Management team here.
For example, if your organization operates out of two different locations, they can be designed as two different sites within your Apricot database. The programs within those sites can be the same if you offer the same programs at each location, or they can be different.
Note: You cannot delete a Site once created, but you can make it inactive by marking every program within the site as inactive. You can also rename the Site or repurpose the Site later. If all programs within a Site are inactive, the Site will no longer appear within the Program Badge at the top of your Apricot page.
Follow the steps listed below to learn how to add a new site to your database.
Step 1: Navigate to the New Site page
In the Administrator view, expand the Access Control category of the navigation bar and select ‘Sites & Programs’.
Here you will find a list of existing sites and programs in your Apricot database. Click the green ‘New +’ button at the top-right corner of the page.
Apricot will present you with two options; select the left icon to create a new site.
Step 2: Fill out the details
In the Site Details section, name your site and provide an optional description that will differentiate it from your other sites.
The Site Location section contains an optional address look-up field for your site's physical location. As you enter an address, the right pane will provide a Google Maps view of the address.
You can also assign a Site Contact in the last section of this page if applicable, which just serves as a point of contact for this site’s operations.
Step 3: Save the site
Click the ‘Save Site’ button in the bottom-right corner to save your changes and successfully add a new site to your Apricot database.
