Understanding Bulletins
Updated over 3 weeks ago

The Bulletin feature allows Apricot administrators to create and share important messages and announcements with users throughout the system. Bulletins can be used to communicate updates, provide instructions, display reports, or link to other areas of Apricot.

Bulletins are displayed on the My Apricot landing page, making them a prominent way to get information in front of your users. There are two main types of bulletins - HTML bulletins for general announcements, and Report bulletins which display the results of a specific report. Administrators can control which users have access to specific bulletins or bulletin categories within their roles or permission sets to ensure the right information gets in front of the right people.

To create a new bulletin, go to the Administrator tab and select Bulletins under the Workflow Station category. From here, you can choose the bulletin type, set the date range for when it will be active, and customize the bulletin content and appearance. Bulletins can include text, images, videos, links, and even buttons to redirect users to specific pages in Apricot.

Review the articles below to learn how to leverage Bulletins as a communication tool in your database to keep your users informed and offer guidance through their daily tasks.
