Understanding Report Formatting (Native Reporting)
Updated this week

Formatting a report can make it easier to interpret the data that's collected and pulled into the report. Certain settings can adjust not only the appearance of your data, but also fine-tune its behavior within the report.

Apricot's Report Builder gives users ownership of many different properties, including settings that govern an entire report or those that apply to a single report column. Any component that has a green gear icon next to its header has its own customizable properties. These include more cosmetic options (ex. date formats) and Summary value options (ex. Totals or Averages) that can add nuance to your data sets.

Review the articles below to learn what properties are available to customize throughout native reports and how they affect the way you display your data.
