Understanding Native Report Basics
Updated over a month ago

Apricot's Native Reporting tool allows you to use the data entered into your database to develop customizable, comprehensive reports that visualize your organization's progress and demonstrate your programs' impact.

In order to create reports that achieve these goals, it's important to understand the core report-building blocks of the Native Reporting tool. The forms and data fields used as the basis of a report, how report sections and columns are displayed, and what filters are placed on the returned data all determine the efficiency and usability of a report.

Administrators and users with access to the Report Center can expand the Report Center category on the navigation bar and select 'Reports' to open Native Reporting and create a new report.

Review the following articles to learn reporting best practices and how to create and eventually run your first report with the Native Reporting tool.
