Once you've grasped the basics of Results reporting and getting your data into a report document, there are a handful of tools within the platform that allow you to hone in even more on your organization's impact.
For example, both drill filters and input controls take the data generated from your report queries and allows you to filter the results based on specific values of a selected field or object. This allows you to highlight outcomes from an individual program, or view all participants who responded with a particular value within a form.
You may also have the need to create multiple report queries from multiple universes. Even if you're using different data sources, you'll want to display the data as similarly as possible within a report table. Creating variables with a formula to display unflattened data as flattened data helps your report look more uniform and makes interpreting your data easier. By default, objects must be from the same report query in order to be pulled into the same report table. However, you can also create a kind of variable called a merged dimension to make the data objects compatible and view your outcomes in a single report table.
Administrators can access ARR in the Administrator tab by expanding the Report Center category of the navigation bar and selecting Apricot Results Reporting. This will open the Apricot Results Reporting Dashboard. Existing reports are saved in Folders within the Reporting Dashboard, and new custom reports are created from the Web Intelligence application here.
Review the articles below to learn how to create more intermediate reports that support more complex reporting needs.
