This document outlines the improvements made to Apricot Results Reporting on May 1, 2020.

Updated over a week ago

What’s Changing?

We've added the ability to create new universes that will make report building faster and more intuitive.

Also, the name! Apricot Insights Reporting will now be known within the product as Apricot Results Reporting. This change should help alleviate any confusion between the advanced reporting capabilities (Apricot Results Reporting) and the Insights Dashboard.

Enhancements

You can now create your own universes by navigating to the form settings. Here you will check the box to “Enable in Apricot Results Reporting” for all forms you want to report on. IMPORTANT: This must be done for all Tier 1 and Tier 2 forms you wish to report on.

Please allow up to 30 min for the initial creation of your universes. If you check the box for a Tier 2 form before checking the box for a Tier 1 form, the Tier 1 form universe will automatically be created for you.

Universes follow the Tier 1/Tier 2 structure. Meaning in order to find the data for your Tier 2 forms you must look at the parent’s Tier 1 universe. All new universes will be named after the Tier 1 form as shown below.

Once you select your Tier 1 universe, it will take you to your query panel. Here you will notice that your data points are already pre-flattened for you (see here for further explanation).

  1. This is your Tier 1 Folder. It includes all supported fields that make up your Tier 1 form and all Tier 2 Folders where you have checked the “Enable in Apricot Results Reporting” box.

  2. This is your Tier 2 Folder (if you have more than one, they will appear below). You will find all your Tier 2 forms and their supported fields.

Having the data pre-flattened allows for you to drag and drop the fields you need to report on. You’ll no longer a need to have to manually type out a formula for every piece of data you would like to pull into a report.

Click Run Query and you have now built your first report without having to type a formula!
