Learn how to troubleshoot common error messages found on the Apricot login page below.
Q: I tried to log in but received the following error message: "Login Unsuccessful." What do I do?
First, make sure you're entering the full email address associated with your Apricot account and the correct password. If you don't know your password, click 'Forgot Password' to reset it.
If you still see this error with the correct credentials, your Apricot organization may be configured to only allow users to log in to Apricot using Single Sign-On, or SSO.
Reach out to your Apricot administrator to confirm if your organization requires SSO login for all users. If so, they should provide your organization's unique login URL for you to enter the credentials associated with your Identity Provider, or IDP.
After successful SSO authentication, you will be redirected to Apricot and logged in.
Q: I see the following message when I try to log in: "It appears that your session has timed out. Please log in again to continue your Apricot session." What does this mean?
If you're on the Apricot login page and see this message after entering your credentials, you may have another Apricot session considered currently active in another window or device. Logging in to Apricot with the same user account from two different devices is not permitted, which causes this message to display.
Re-entering your credentials here should grant you access to Apricot. We recommend manually logging out after completing your work on every device. You can do this by clicking your name in the top-right corner and selecting 'Logout'.
Q: I was previously on a different Apricot page, but now I see the login page and the "timed out" error message. How did this happen?
If you clicked or stepped away from Apricot for some time and returned to this message, this means your account was logged out due to inactivity. The amount of time a user can be inactive before timing out is specified by an administrator in your organization's settings.
For security purposes and to prevent data loss, we recommend saving your work often and manually logging out of Apricot after completing your work.
