Having trouble logging in to Apricot? Check out this video that walks through how to reset your password for access to Apricot or change your password from within Apricot.
Step 1: Request a password reset
On Apricot's login page, click 'Forgot Password'. This will direct you to the "Forgot Your Password?" page.
Step 2: Enter your username
Enter the email address associated with your Apricot login and click 'Reset Password'. This will send a password reset email to the email address entered.
Step 3: Check your email
To ensure you receive the password reset email, we highly recommend allow-listing the email address and IP address below:
From address: secure@socialsolutions.com
IP address: 168.245.23.126
Be sure to check your junk and spam folders for the email. If it shows up in either, you can mark the email as 'not spam' to prevent future emails from going into those folders.
Once you receive the email, click the password reset link to access Apricot.
Note: If you have access to multiple databases, you will receive a password reset email for every database. You must use the link in each email to reset every password and regain access to all databases.
Follow the steps listed below to change your password within Apricot, such as after a password reset.
Step 1: Access the Password Details page
At the top of any Apricot page, hover over the arrow next to your name and select 'Change Password'. You will be directed to the Password Details page to update your password.
Step 2: Create a new password
Enter your current password and create a new password that meets the following security standards:
Is a minimum length of 12 characters
Has at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one symbol, and one number
Does not reuse the last 24 passwords
Must be reset at least every 365 days
Step 3: Save your changes
Once you've entered your new password, select 'Change Password" to save the changes.
